Hibiscus Lime Tea – A Perfect Summer Refresher!

This is a perfect recipe I use A LOT in the summer, and it is especially refreshing after being outside on those hot summer days. I make a half gallon of this at a time so this recipe uses a half gallon glass Mason jar and you should be able to buy this at any major store such as Wal-Mart or Target.

  1. Boil 7-8 cups of purified drinking water
  2. While this is boiling, cut up two limes into slices and then down the middle of each slice.
  3. Combine the limes, with 1/2 cup raw honey, and 4 bags of organic Hibiscus tea (make sure to cut off the string), and 3 tablespoons of lime juice (not from concentrate) into the glass jar
  4. Pour the boiling water into the glass jar over the other ingredients, cover, steep till cool, and then place the refrigerator
  5. Serve with ice

Quick and easy and super delicious! My kids love this as well so very kid friendly. If you’d like a bit of fizz in the tea, you can use sparkling water instead. I also like to use fresh limes to garnish with, but totally up to you. Not only is it tasty, but Hibiscus is also loaded with Vitamin C and antioxidants which offers a huge benefit in drinking it. Enjoy! 🙂
