Oolong, an herb mostly derived from China, has powerful healing affects on the body. Widely known as a “diet” tea, it has far more benefits than that. Make sure when buying from China that it is certified organic.
Oolong is a diuretic. It reduces heart disease, inflammatory disorders, and high cholesterol. Oolong promotes bone structure, robust skin, and good dental health. It strengthens the immune system. Oolong controls obesity which is why it is has been haled as a “diet” tea. It does this by removing harmful free radicals, improving fat metabolism, and blocking fat absorption. By removing harmful free radicals, the tea also treats skin disorders such as eczema and fights aging.
Oolong also treats the following:
- Cancer, especially skin and stomach cancers
- Stress and anxiety and enhances mental function
- Tooth decay and osteoporosis

Cautions: Safe for pregnant women in SMALL amounts. Do not drink more than 2 cups daily because it does contain caffeine.
To treat osteoporosis: no more than 3 cups per day
Do not drink more than 5 cups per day because of the caffeine.
Do not take if you have glaucoma, bleeding disorders, IBS, high blood pressure, and/or heart conditions
Directions: 1-2 tsp per cup of boiling water and steep 2-6 minutes.
To treat skin disorders: 3 cups of tea 3 times daily, the benefit is seen in less than 1 week.
