Why it’s Important to Have Clean Drinking Water

Water, H20. We all know and are taught at an early age, that this molecule is vital for survival and in fact we would die if we didn’t have it, but did you know that water is so much more than that? It is not just life-giving, but it is life.

Up to 60% of the human adult body is water. According to H.H. Mitchell, Journal of Biological Chemistry 158, the brain and heart are composed of 73% water, and the lungs are about 83% water. The skin contains 64% water, muscles and kidneys are 79%, and even the bones are watery: 31%.

Some of the water we consume is from the food we eat, but did you know drinking the wrong water or contaminated food/water could actually harm you and completely eliminate the beneficial properties in the water? Did you know you could be drinking dead water?

Life is energy or high vibration. Water is typically high in energy and vibration, but contaminated water has been corrupted, killed for lack of a better word so that it no longer gives life or energy, but disease. In fact, consuming contaminated water can contribute to fatty liver disease which can lead to inflammation and organ failure of other important organs such as the kidneys, etc.

Consider the following: “Every year 3,575,000 people die from water-related diseases. This is equivalent to a jumbo jet crashing every hour. Most of these people are children (2.2 million). Unclean water and poor sanitation have claimed more lives over the past 100 years than any other cause. The water-crisis claims more lives through disease than any war through guns. ” – The World Counts This is a frightening statistic and indicates a global crisis.

Water helps to purify and cleanse the body of toxins (which are heavy in today’s world), and the body uses several detox pathways such as the spine, blood, etc. to do this. This then flows out through urine and fecal matter. Without good water, your body can’t detox properly and if your body can’t detox properly, it starts to shut down your organs. In a world full of toxins, it’s essential to have good cleaning water.

Our ancestors never had to worry about this because the springs and water underground were clean. And not only clean but chock-full of important minerals that our bodies require.

Today, our water, even underground, has been contaminated heavily with the heavy metals and chemicals sprayed on the ground to the fluoride, chlorine, and pharmaceutical residue put in our tap water.

So it’s not just the water, but the source of water that is important. Water that is filtered naturally in springs and underground has been filtered naturally through the rocks and earth. Through this process, water captures important minerals from the rock and soil that our bodies need.

Water naturally has beneficial minerals including calcium, magnesium, sodium & potassium, to name a few. Drinking water with higher amounts of minerals results in lower heart disease and cancer mortality rates.

How is Water Life?

Masaru Emoto.jpg

Have you ever heard about Masaru Emoto?

Masaru Emoto was a Japanese author and pseudoscientist who said that human consciousness has an effect on the molecular structure of water. Emoto’s conjecture evolved over the years, and his early work revolved around pseudoscientific hypotheses that water could react to positive thoughts and words and that polluted water could be cleaned through prayer and positive visualization.

How could that be unless water was energy? So Emoto’s conjecture would mean that polluted water held a lower vibration than clean water. Humans and plants alike need to feed off higher vibration in order to function properly, both in the spiritual and physical.

Emoto said that water was a “blueprint for our reality” and that emotional “energies” and “vibrations” could change the physical structure of water.[16] Emoto’s water crystal experiments consisted of exposing water in glasses to different words, pictures, or music and then freezing and examining the aesthetic properties of the resulting crystals with microscopic photography.[8][17]

Emoto made the claim that water exposed to positive speech and thoughts would result in visually “pleasing” crystals being formed when that water was frozen and that negative intention would yield “ugly” frozen crystal formations.[8]

That would mean our thoughts and words are energy. This then causes positive or negative vibrations in the air that can affect someone or something else’s energy.

This is exactly why prayer is so important in religions. Prayer is thought, prayer is powerful. It is focused energy in the unseen, the spiritual, where these frequencies and vibrations react to each other.

This is why we can create with our thoughts and actually shape our future by the way we think. Thoughts eventually become actions and words and thereby creates. Every day, you are creating.

This is also why it’s vital to maintain positive, pure thoughts – thoughts of gratitude, love, compassion, and kindness.

Words are powerful. The spoken word or proclamation also creates. This is why it is important to proclaim positive things over your life and proclaim the blood of Christ over your life. It’s healing.

Emoto held that different water sources would produce different crystalline structures when frozen. For example, he held that a water sample from a mountain stream when frozen would show structures of beautifully-shaped geometric design, but those structures would be distorted and randomly formed if the sample were taken from a polluted water source.

In 2008, Emoto published his findings in the Journal of Scientific Exploration, a peer-reviewed scientific journal of the Society for Scientific Exploration.[18] In the experiment, more than 1,900 of Emoto’s followers focused feelings of gratitude toward water stored in bottles, which was then frozen and its crystalline formations inspected.[11] The gratitude-focused crystals were rated slightly more “beautiful” than one set of control crystals and slightly less “beautiful” than the other controls. An objective comparison of the samples did not reveal any significant differences.

SO, you’re probably wondering – well what does this all have to do with water being life?

What Emoto’s work proved was that water is energy, it is life-giving, and since all life is primarily made up of water, it is life-sustaining. It is the molecule of life. He also proved that it is subject to environmental vibrations from sound and thought frequencies and pollution.

We know that H20 is water – two hydrogen-bonded atoms with an oxygen atom. We know that the air we breathe carries oxygen and water vapor. Ever complained of it being too humid out? This water vapor in the air we breathe is essential against viruses. It acts as a protective coating in our lungs. This is why we are more susceptible to getting sick when the air becomes ‘dryer’. Before the Flood of Noah, there was a constant misting on the earth that provided a ton of moisture or humidity in the air, enough for plants and people to survive.

Genesis 2:6, “But a mist used to rise from the earth and water the whole surface of the ground.”

It provided a canopy of life.

If you factor the above with the fact that God ‘spoke’ the world into existence, humans are made in His image, and the earth is primarily water (Genesis 1) then you have a huge common denominator here. Every part of our body is made up of water and needs to function with water! God is the creator of life and water is life.

Together, with God’s breath of life, we exist, but only as long as we are operating at a high vibration. The water in us needs to be energized, it needs to be pure and clean. Otherwise, we become sick and afflicted with illness because the water is sick. Low vibration ultimately leads to death. If the water in us is not alive, we cease to be alive. Water is life.

Why Plants Need Clean Water

It’s not just us that need clean water, plants need it to. Many plants that we eat derive their nutrients from the soil and water. When we consume the plant, we are taking in whatever that plant ate. So it’s important that we use good water and good soil to grow our herbs, vegetables, and plants. This will ensure our good health as well.

There are plants that are sensitive to fluoride (derived from fluorine) and excess chlorine in the water as well. The Pacific Northwest Pest Management Handbooks has an article on Fluorine Toxicity in Plants that indicates those plants most impacted by this chemical in the water.

The University of Maryland also did a study on the impact of chlorine in the water on plants titled Chlorine Toxicity. Both studies show the harmful impacts on plants these toxins can have, imagine the harm it is doing to humans.

Where to Find Clean Drinking Water

My guess is that you don’t live somewhere on the earth completely untouched by man where you have free access to an underground well or spring. If I’m correct, you need to find a good water filter. And if you are already experiencing liver or organ damage from bad water, you can reverse this!

Eliminating toxins, drinking clean water, and living an organic gluten-free (sprouted is okay) lifestyle rich in vegetables can help you reverse organ damage. Taking an organic vitamin and mineral supplement from whole food sources is also recommended. Your body is highly regeneratable, it just needs a little help.

My search for a good water filtration system found overpriced, expensive systems that don’t even eliminate much of the toxins of the water. Mike Adams from the Health Ranger did an extensive study on some common and cheap water filters out there. The results were extremely disappointing when it came to eliminating heavy metals in the water. You can find the results from his study Here.

I’m a huge advocate for a Big Berkey. Not only are they affordable, but their test results are outstanding for producing high-quality water, and eliminating heavy metals, arsenic, glyphosate, chlorine, pharmaceuticals, and they even offer fluoride filters. These are gravity filtration systems so don’t even require electricity! An added bonus in my opinion. 🙂

The best water out there? Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus Christ) of course, our King and Savior. John 7:37-38 reads:

37 In the last day, that great [day] of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

Yeshua is our living water, here and into eternity.

Nonprofits for Global Clean Water

If you are looking to support a non-profit organization fighting for global clean water in areas of the world with unclean and unsanitary living conditions, see below. But this is not just an epidemic in third world countries, this is an epidemic in the United States.

Our water has been tainted by years of chemical agriculture, plastics, chlorine, pharmaceuticals, and neurotoxins like fluoride/fluorine. Don’t think fluoride in the water is a HUGE problem? Take a look at the studies done by Harvard Public Health.

Together, we can work towards ensuring future generations including our children have cleaner water. Let’s be conscientious about filtering the water we drink, not drinking out of plastic bottles, and overall limiting our exposure to the heavy metals and contaminants present in today’s water.

  • Generosity.org is an organization committed to ending the clean water crisis in developing countries.
  • Focusing on communities in Central America and the Caribbean, Pure Water for the World provides children and families with the tools and education to develop sustainable water, hygiene, and sanitation solutions.
  • Blood:Water is a nonprofit that partners with African grassroots organizations to bring clean water and HIV/AIDS support to one million people in 11 countries.
  • Water for Good works with communities in central Africa to establish sanitation best practices, improve agriculture, and empower people to create sustainable clean water access.
  • Hope of Life International is a faith-based organization dedicated to effectively serving vulnerable children and families in Guatemala.

  1. A very nice article to enlighten people. With the outbreak of various sicknesses from taking bad water, it’s clear that we all should stay away from it, or mind a means to getting good water form consumption. Although getting good water in some areas can be difficult, but there is access to some good devices that wean help in cleansing these water before we consume them.

  2. A fascinating insight into the role and importance of water. I particularly enjoyed the part about Emoto’s work. I had never heard of it. Thanks for sharing

  3. You are are very right that most parts of our body is made of water but not so many understand this. Water is a very important part of our lives and this is why a musician said in his song that water does not have an enemy. Like you have said, it is important that we get water that is pure because it is what can help our body system and it is infact what the body needs. Bad water means bad health. I have to share this educative post.

Thanks also for pointing out the devastating effects of water that is not clean. A well researched and well-written article.  I look forward to your next post.  Have you watched the first hour or so of the Netflix documentary on Bill Gates? It starts by showing graphic details of the sanitation problem and the devastating effects on the local population and then  elaborates on the monumental effort that was required to have clean water in Senegal, West Africa.  I’d be interested to know your thoughts on the amazing achievements of collaboration. No spoilers … let me know your opinion.

  5. Unclean water has caused so many havoc in our society at large and people keeps dying as a result of bad water everyday and I wonder when this will be put to an end.

Of course, our thoughts and our words are powerful. We should be mindful of what we say and the prayers we make too.

I have read so much about water filtration system and they are quite impressive and gets me wondering how far science and technology has gone.

    It’s all good.

  6. What a beautiful blog post! I knew that water was essential for life, however, I did not know that the heart and lungs consisted of such a high percentage of water. This post has given me a whole new look on “water is life”! Also, thanks for sharing the water filtration system! Berkey Water Filter Systems look very affordable!
